The missus got to show off some of her new bike prowess. Actually, she managed to better both my bike and my run time for this course (done a couple of years ago!)
Julie placed 13th until a day later she found out she had been cited for "abandoned equipment" which appears to have been the result of a race official thinking that she intentionally tossed a water bottle during the bike ride when in fact it had popped off after hitting one of the 487 pot holes on the course!
Always fun to have a race in your back yard and fortunately the rogue sea lion wasn’t around.
