Saturday, Julie had a breakthrough race at Treasure Island finishing 7th out of 105 in her age group. In typical fashion, she smiled her way through the entire event (including the plunge into the icy Bay).

I was going to do the sprint race the next day but after running for 90 minutes on Saturday, I decided it was a bit stupid to try to race the next day. Which means I got to spend a couple of hours on the trainer and visit the pool instead.
Effort is now turning toward convincing Jon to step up and do the race.
