The most excellent micro-chocolate manufacturer has been bought by Hershey.
A couple of years ago, I went on a tour of the factory in Berkeley. It was very informative! For instance, did you know that the differences in chocolate styles are a product of regional evolution. Cacao was very expensive so when companies started to sell chocolate they looked for ways to dilute it. In Switzerland, they had an abundance of cows and milk — hence a legacy of milk chocolate.
Hershey chose to blend with yogurt and added extra sugar to compensate.
