I struggled through a 14 mile run and a burly 50 mile Alpine Dam ride last weekend. Fortunately, I had Megan (who is now training to do the Aids Ride) and Martin (who could esaily have domestique status for some euro squad) to drag me through. Fortunately I recovered quite well.
Relay mania – Julie (swim), Megan (bike), and Nick (run) are going to do the Wildflower Long Course as well. Can’t wait to hear Nick’s reaction to the "naked aid station" around mile 3 or 4.
The only bummer is all motels are sold out so it looks like Tent City, Lake San Antonio.
