Aches and Pains

I have been taking it easy since the adventure race, figuring that this has already been an activity filled year.  Rest is actually quite perilous!  After a couple of weeks in Europe, I have discovered that I now weigh a record 192lbs.  It won’t last too long but it isn’t a lot of fun hauling that eurochub around on a five mile run.

More disconcerting is a recent spat of self-inflicted injuries including:  rolling my ankle, tweaking my rotator cuff, seriously bruising my earlobe on a car door, hyper-extending my knee, and straining my rib cage.

Time to start training again before I really hurt myself!
