WHWR Recap

Sorry for the long delay.  Digital media is time consuming!  My foot has recovered from the "duh-hrain" incident. I have posted a bunch of photos on Webshots.  I have tried to include a bit of narrative in the photo titles.

Duh-hrain!

I am up  and about after a serious highland adventure. The going was a bit more rough than expected.  I managed to get to 50 miles and that required an extraordinary support crew and enduring quite a bit of pain.

Under 30 Days!

I did a 20 miler on Saturday and then hiked up to see the mountain play on Sunday. Now, it is time to tackle a lot of logistics and a ridiculous packing list all for a long run.

25k/50k ~Approximately

It is an adrenaline fueled Monday, and only that adrenaline is keeping from finding some nice sofa to recline upon. I completed another epic back-to-back: shuffling 14-15 or so on Saturday evening and then backing that up with a 31

I logged my first decent back-to-back workout.  On Wednesday I clicked off 9-10 miles and then 24 hours later I took the early ferry from Tiburon to downtown SF and ran all the way back (20+ miles).  The highlight was

Where Do I Start?

After a good long break (mental and physical), I am gearing up for 2006.  Right now, there are two items on the docket: Wildflower Long Course and the big one, the West Highland Way Race  (nearly 100 miles across Scotland!)
